Baby Milestones: Month 7

Baby’s Development

By the end of the month your baby should be able to:*

  • Make wet razing sounds
  • Turn in the direction of a voice
  • Play peek-a-boo
  • Imitate sounds
  • Distinguish emotions by the sound of your voice

*All babies are different and reach milestones on their own developmental timelines. If your baby has not reached one of the developmental items, rest assured that he or she should be able to do so shortly.

Activities

Toy Swap!

Try getting together with your play group or other parents with babies of a similar age and arrange a toy swap. This is a great way for your baby to gain exposure playing with different types of toys and not spending money is great for your wallet!

Just For Mom

When is the last time you were at the library? While there, pick up a few good books for yourself. Libraries are also a good place to pick-up educational and fun movies or CD-ROMs.
