Balanced Nutrition for Toddlers and a Nutritious Alternative to Milk
Parent's Choice Toddler & Older Infant Formula is specially designed for infants nine months and older (9-24 months). Our toddler formula (stage 2 formula or follow-on formula) contains calcium for growing bones and is suitable for children who have started a diet supplemented by baby cereals and baby foods.
We realize it is enjoyable to watch your growing little one experience new foods. We also realize that parents can become frustrated when their toddlers display fussy eating habits. With picky eaters, it is no wonder why moms and dads often worry about meeting their toddler's changing nutritional requirements.
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) does not recommend cow's milk for infants under one year of age. This is because older infants who are fed whole cow's milk do not get enough essential nutrients like vitamin E, iron, and essential fatty acids. The AAP recommends that all infants be fed breast milk or iron-fortified formula for at least 12 months.
According to an online service supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), toddlers under the age of one may consume too much protein, sodium, and potassium when fed whole cow's milk. Plus the protein and fat in whole cow's milk can become troublesome when it comes to digestion and nutrient absorption.
Parent's Choice Toddler Formula provides balanced nutrition and is an excellent source of the essential fatty acids DHA and ARA, which occur naturally in breast milk and may support infant mental and visual development. Our toddler formula contains iron, vitamin C, vitamin E, and zinc.
Our Toddler & Older Infant Formula is manufactured to exacting FDA standards in Vermont, and is nutritionally comparable to * Enfagrow™ Premium™ Next Step® and Similac® and Go & Grow® toddler formulas.
Parent's choice Stage 2 formula is just as good as Enfamil or Similac. My daughter had problems with Similac, and Enfamil was so expensive that we tried this. She had no problems with it was a great formula to transition to when she hit about 9 months.

I feel good knowing that our picky eater is getting more nutrients than she would be getting drinking plain milk alone. It is very convenient to take along in the baby bag, as it does not require refrigeration until you mix it with water.

We love Parent's Choice because of the huge cans and the formula costs half the price!
